Crossworm (aka Johnny Cross) is a producer / songwriter combining gritty underground hip hop, with hard edged Industrial production, and rebellious lyricism, in a crossover genre he calls "dirtcore".

I am a completely independent and self contained artist. The music I make is my own personal blend of hip hop, fused with punk elements and hard hitting industrial production. I call both the genre and my fanbase, "dirtcore". I take very much pride in the fact that I rap, scream, sing, produce, mix, record, and engineer everything you hear in the music.
In my opinion popular music has become very stale and pretentious. But underground music doesn't have to be poorly done either. If you're looking for something real and original, you found it.
I am proud to be a part of an independent group of artists known as Thirteen Percent Records. It is the official home of the original 13%ers, Menacide, and McNastee aka Heavy Hittaz, and is also the new home for Crossworm.
